Jack Schramm Cox has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 1978. He is a second-generation Florida Native, a graduate of Riviera Beach High School, Palm Beach Junior College, Florida State University and Cumberland School of Law.

During his recent service as Circuit Court Judge in the 15th Circuit in Palm Beach County, Retired Judge Cox was appointed by the Supreme Court to serve as an Associate Judge at the 4th District Court of Appeal for two separate terms. Prior to his tenure on the bench, Mr. Cox was a Complex Commercial Trial Lawyer. As a trial lawyer, he has tried dozens of Jury Trials and Non-Jury Trials to completion. As an appellate lawyer, he has briefed and argued dozens of cases in the Florida Appellate Courts including his very first case which was in the Florida Supreme Court.

Mr. Cox has had the honor of representing financial institutions, premiere Land Developers, major high-end General Contractors, Plumbing /HVAC/Electrical/Landscaping/Masonry/Painting/Roofing /Underground sub-contractors. He has also represented expert Construction Professionals, Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects, Surveyors, Title Insurance companies and Building Inspectors. Clients have also included a window manufacturer, door manufacturer and plumbing fixture manufacturer.

Mr. Cox has also litigated cases involving Condominium and Homeowner associations, Trade Name, and Probate litigation.

While in private practice, Mr. Cox was previously peer review rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. While serving as a Circuit Judge, Retired Judge Cox was awarded the Jurist of the Year by the Craig S. Barnard Inn of Court.

Prior to being appointed to the Circuit Court, Mr. Cox, as an attorney, was nominated twice to the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

As Circuit Court Judge, Retired Judge Cox was tasked with one of the highest volume Civil Trial Divisions where he presided over 100 Jury trials to verdict, including personal Injury, slander, Medical Malpractice, Condemnation, Construction defects, Construction liens, Employment Discrimination. As the presiding, Judge assigned to a Felony Criminal Trial Division, he presided over 75 felony Jury trials including Murder, Car Jacking, Child Abuse, Rape, Burglary, Drug Trafficking.
